Quaint Catskills Cabin with Panoramic Views

The owner/ property manager was fine. The property itself was very worn and needs some maintenance. It had a handicapped shower (seat and all) with a half of a shower curtain. It was extremely hot during the day Inside. The outside of the structure needs some tending to also, the wood is deteriorating.It is NOT close to the baseball fields if that what youre there for. 15 miles equals 45 mins. When I brought up this up to the manager of how this is not what we expected and asked for a refund she would do so.What was disturbing to me and my family the most was the “art work”. There is three pictures on the wall hanging which depict soul takers which I think are from some sort of Indian tribe titled “Diablos de Coyantes” and “Muerteada”, which means devil of the Coyantes and death bringer. We did not appreciate that or the meaning.Service is none existent and good luck finding your way back without a map or service. Thank goodness I remember some of landmarks.

Beautiful views. Quiet and relaxing. Convenient to Delhi and Hamden.

My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us!
